• Driver's License
  The renter must have in his/her immediate possession a valid and current driver's license issued by his/her respective department of motor vehicles. In order for the license to be valid, it must pass the following:
  
  
• The license must not be expired.
• The license must match the renter who is renting the vehicle.
• If the license uses a P.O. Box as an address, a physical address must be supplied upon renting the vehicle.
• The name on the driver's license must match exactly the imprinted name on the credit card.

Credit Cards Rentals
The imprinted name on the credit card must match exactly with the name on the driver's license of the renter. The credit card must be in the immediate possession of the renter, no credit card information will be taken over the phone or any other method unless otherwise approved and previously established through corporate programs.

Other Payment Types
We do not accept pre-paid credit cards, electron cards, key chain credit cards or gift cards. We must be able to make an imprint of the raised type on the credit card in order to accept it.

Domestic Renters
For those customers who are not local renters, but reside within the United States, Canada or Puerto Rico, the following policies apply:

• Payment Type - Credit Card or Debit Card with a credit card logo
  • The purchase of additional coverage is optional.
  • If additional coverage is not purchased, the primary renter and/or additional driver must sign and initial the rental contract confirming that the vehicle and all liability is their responsibility. Additionally, the primary driver may be required to provide current information about the current insurance policy.
  • For Credit Cards, a hold of $50 or 35% over the estimated total, whichever is greater, will be taken at the time of pickup.
• Payment Type - Cash
  • The primary driver and any additional drivers must be at least 25 years of age.
  • The primary driver must provide proof of full coverage insurance for all applicable drivers.
  • The rental will not be permitted without proof of coverage.
  • A deposit of $300 will be required above the estimated total of the rental.

Local Renters
For those customers who do not have a return airline boarding pass, the following policies apply:

• Payment Type - Credit Card or Debit Card with a credit card logo
  • The primary driver must provide proof of full coverage insurance in order to rent.
  • Purchase of our coverage is not permitted.
  • For Credit Cards, a hold of $200 or 35% over the estimated total, whichever is greater, will be taken at the time of pickup.
  • All rentals are subject to a mileage cap.
• Payment Type - Cash
  • We do not accept this method of payment from Local Renters.
    

Coverages/Insurance
CDW (Collision Damage Waiver)

• Renters that opt for this coverage eliminate their financial responsibility for damages incurred while renting a vehicle as long as the terms and conditions of the rental agreement have not been violated with a $1000 deductible. Theft, glass, tires, & loss of use are not covered. Collision Damage Waiver is NOT insurance.
• Prices vary by car class. Please refer to the rental agreement, rental jacket, and any other underlying policies for complete details on the terms and conditions.
• Collision Damage Waiver is available for $19.99 per day and up.

Declining Coverage

• For those renters who wish to decline coverage at the time of the rental, proof of a valid and current automobile insurance policy must be provided to the rental agent.
• The renter will then be solely responsible for the vehicle itself and any third party claims made against it.
• Please check with your insurance agent for more information about your state's coverage requirements as they compare with the state that you are traveling to.

Accepting Coverage

• Coverage accepted at the time of pick up cannot be removed from the rental agreement unless the renter returns to the rental counter, has the vehicle checked by the car rental staff and signs for the coverage to be removed.

Extra Services
Additional Driver

• The additional driver must qualify in the same manner as the primary renter, but will not be held responsible for the payment or damage.
• A fee of $5.00 per day will be charged for each additional driver.
• This charge can be waived if the additional driver is a spouse or life partner. In order to waive additional driver fee, the spouse or life partner must have same address on his/her respective license as the primary driver.

Underage

• Minimum age for renting a vehicle is 21.
• The fees for underage renters are as follows:
  • $15.00/day: 21 - 24 years old renting non-specialty vehicles.

Fuel Options

• You may return the vehicle with the same amount of gas as you start with, (this is usually a full tank of gas for on airport locations), and receive no additional charges. However, if you fail to return the vehicle with the proper level of fuel, a charge of $6.99 per gallon will apply in addition to your estimated charges.
• You may pre-purchase the fuel at the beginning of the rental and return the vehicle as close to empty as possible. Note: There is no refund for unused fuel.

Rental Boundries

• Florida
  • The rental vehicle cannot be driven out of the state in which it was rented unless it is specifically allowed by the rental location.
• Georgia
  • Vehicles are allowed to travel in the following states: Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, and Tennessee.
    

Parking Tickets Violations

• The primary renter is responsible for all tickets/violations issued to the rental vehicle and must pay these violations to the authorities that issued the ticket.
• A $50.00 administration fee will be assessed for each ticket/violation.

Confirmation Number

• Your confirmation number is the number that you are given once your reservation has been confirmed. This number can be used to gain access to your reservation information, including your rates, or your rental information once you have picked up the vehicle.

Guarantee

• A reservation guarantees the car class that you reserved along with the rate, date and time that you reserved it for. It does not guarantee a specific make and model of a vehicle, nor can it guarantee a reservation for another date.
  

Coupons

• All coupons have specific restrictions and may have black out dates. Please see the specific coupon or call our reservation center for more information concerning the coupon usage.

Additional Charges

• The following additional charge may or may not apply to your rental. The amount and application of these charges vary by location. To determine the amount and application, simply visit our home page and get an express rate. Make sure that the pick-up and drop-off location is correct.
• VLRF
  • Vehicle License Recoupment Fee - This is a fee for the recoupment of vehicle licensing fees that we pay.
• Surcharge
  • This surcharge is dependent on the state in which the vehicle is rented in and is paid to the state for all rental vehicles.
• Sales Tax
  • This is the sales tax for the state and county fees.
• Airport Access Fee
  • This fee is what we pay to the airport for airport access fees.
